Happy New Year!

Hello guys and girls!

We wish you all the best for 2009! And with the change to a new year, we thought to do this properly and change to a new name as well. You know, just to fit the occasion. After two years, we experienced that the name 'Imperator' gave people the wrong impressions of our music, potentially scaring them off. Now, ofcourse we like to think we are an ominous bunch of scary individuals you'd rather avoid while going through a dark alley (*insert deep, echoing maniacal laughter here*), but in reality we approach levels of cuddliness many teddybears can only dream of.

So a new name was required. After a week of assembling a list of over 20 names, it was the last suggestion that surpassed all of them; The Drowning Trout. We could tell you where we got it from (or that we're caring environmentalists, deeply concerned with global warming and the like), but we suppose Google can tell better stories.

Also, the search for a new guitarist is narrowing down. There's been some auditioning, and hopefully we'll be welcoming our new axeman in the coming month.
